The West Edmonton Raiders Football Club is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers.  The operation and coordination of such a complex club is not an easy task, and dozens of parent and alumni volunteers are needed each year.  The Coaching Staff, Medical Staff, Managers and the Board of Directors are responsible for the smooth operation of the club, the development of our players, our programs and the safety of everyone involved.

However, we cannot field successful teams without sufficient resources.  Our funds are raised through two sources: Registration fees and Fundraising.  These funds are used to cover the cost of Player equipment (the value of equipment required for each player is over $1000 and must re-certified or replaced regularly), Field fees, League fees, Insurance costs, and training equipment. 

 Registration fees can often become a burden and create financial hardship for families, so we rely heavily on the support of our Fundraising and Sponsorship efforts.

 With the support of our Volunteers and Sponsors, the West Edmonton Raiders Football Club will continue to allow players to enjoy the game of football in a safe, inviting and fun environment, now, and for many years to come.



 FIELDS & FACILITIES SPONSOR                                          $5000.00 - $7500.00

 Our Football Club spends most of its practice time on City of Edmonton, natural grass fields.  While this is a cost effective option for the Club, closed fields, poor field conditions and even circumstances like 2018’s smoke from BC results in many cancelled and missed practices.  To prevent missed practices, and to improve the confidence, skills and results of our teams, we need to practice. 

 Our Fields & Facilities Sponsor will receive:

  • Recognition on all Raiders Promotional material including:
    • Recruitment Banners, Brochures, Posters and Flyers
    • Recognition at all Team Functions
    • Recognition on all Game Programs
    • Recognition on all Raiders Social Media: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

  • Announcement recognition on Game Day
  • Recognition / Signage at the Fields and Facilities during practice and games



 HELMET SPONSOR                                                               $1500.00 - $5000.00

 Helmets are the most important part of a Football player’s safety equipment.  The sizing, fit and condition of the helmet is of the utmost importance at all times.  Football helmets have a 5 year life span before they need to be re-certified.  After recertification a Raiders football helmet will see 5 more years of field experience.  The cost for one helmet that our program uses averages about $350 each and each year we have to replace at least a handful of these. 

 Helmet Sponsors will receive:    

  • Company logo on EVERY newly purchased helmet (equivalent to 10 years of branding)
  • Recognition at all Team Functions
  • Recognition on all Raiders Social Media
  • Recognition on our website
  • Recognition on our Team Management software (RAMP Team)



JERSEY SPONSOR                                                                 $1500.00 - $4500.00

Have you ever been in a situation where you have to suddenly learn the names of 30 to 50 people?  It can be pretty difficult.  What makes it even more tough is putting a big, metal helmet on their heads.  When they’re wearing their game day numbers it’s a little easier to differentiate, however, practice jerseys all look the same.  One of our Alumni came up with a great idea to assist the Coaches in identifying their players... Personalized practice jerseys.  Not only do these practice jerseys have each Players’ name emblazoned on the back, each of our Raiders get to keep their practice Jersey at the end of the season!  Jersey Sponsors can choose to sponsor Jerseys for the entire club, or they can choose to select one team only.


ALTERNATIVE SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS:                                      


We understand that you have budgets, responsibilities and other demands as well.  If you would like to contribute funds, but are not able to afford the opportunities outlined above, we’d be happy to explore your budget and what the most beneficial use of those funds would be for both our Club, and your Business. 

In the past, we’ve had scholarship donations that our Club has been entrusted to provide to a player that would otherwise not have the opportunity to play.  We’ve had Companies donate restaurant space with discounted rates for our meetings, functions and parties. You may choose to sponsor an award, named after your company, that is presented to a player at each level for a specific achievement!  You might be interested in supporting our initiative to find a permanent Clubhouse home.  We’ve had Businesses that have offered free promotional items, or discounted rates.  No donation or sponsorship is too small.

If our teams reach Provincial playoffs, opportunities exist to sponsor their transportation, championship awards, apparel and more.

Sometimes the most important sponsors don’t donate money; they donate time, services or other special products - the Raiders appreciate your support!
